Get to know Kristine
Rev. Kristine Zinnanti was born and raised in upstate N.Y. Her younger years were filled with chaos and uncertainty. Most of her extended family were involved with drugs and alcohol from an early age. As a baby, she lived between her grandmother, a family friend, and her mother. At age 12 she was introduced to alcohol and mild drugs. It was not until the age of 15 that her father, who she hardly knew, came to know Jesus as Savior and he came looking for his children. He handed her a bible and invited her to church while she was hanging on a street corner with her friends. Kristine was so touched by this act that she decided to attend a service with him. One Sunday, a few weeks later, she surrendered her life to Christ and was filled with the Holy Spirit.
Kristine received her call to ministry at age 15 and has not stopped preaching since. Although being raised in a small town, the Lord gave her visions of reaching people of all nationalities and cultures. She and her husband Lou have been doing urban ministry for the past 25 years. Kristine has served in Philadelphia ministering to over 5000 children per week in some of the worst drug neighborhoods in America at that time. The Lord led them to Canada and Miami, and now Boston where they are pastoring a multicultural church in the inner city.
Kristine has a heart for women of all walks of life and believes that God has a purpose to use women to impact future generations. She is living proof that God loves the lost and he reaches out to those who are a far off. Since becoming a believer, Kristine has seen over three quarters of her extended family members saved and serving the Lord. This family, that was once an alcohol, drug addicted, self-serving family, is now impacting the world for Christ in many ways.
The Lord uses Kristine to preach the word with boldness and clarity so that women feel empowered by the Spirit to reach their God-given potential. Kristine is currently pastoring Christ the Rock Church in Boston MA with her husband and four children. Her oldest daughter is leaving for bible school this fall as a second generation minister of the gospel!
Kristine is an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God.
